Dursley
and District Sub-Branch is one of seven sub-branches
in Gloucestershire and covers the postcode areas of GL9, GL11,
GL12 and GL13.
|
CAMRA’s mission
is to act as the champion of the consumer in relation to the UK
and European drinks industry.
It aims to:
- Maintain consumers' rights.
- Promote quality, choice and value for money.
- Support the public house as a focus for community life.
- Campaign for greater appreciation of traditional beers, ciders
and perries as part of national heritage and culture.
CAMRA also sees
a need to promote and protect some quality bottled beers that are
not bottle conditioned, as survivors of certain styles, or as interesting
beers in their own right. |

| Is your local pub supporting "LocAle" ?
If not, why not ask them if they would like to. |
 |
‘LocAle' was
set up to encourage pubs to stock at least one locally-produced
real ale with the aim to improve the local economy and knowledge
for pub goers about which beers are brewed locally. |
