Welcome! CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, is Europe's most successful consumer association with over 130,000 members. It fights to save Britain's pub heritage and campaigns for a wide choice of tasty traditional beers and ciders.

The Gloucestershire branch covers the GL1 to GL20 and GL50 to GL53 postcode areas. Postcode areas GL54 to GL56 are now covered by a separate North Cotswold Branch. 		  We have recently embarked on a make-over of these web pages. Among the changes are the addition of 'members only' pages and a move to modern web standards, hopefully resulting in a cleaner look to the pages. We are now generating some of the pages from a database, making it easier to keep them up-to-date.

We will be making changes gradually over the next xouple of month, so there may from time to time be inconsistencies in the way pages are displayed (eg inconsistent background colours, spurious scroll bars etc). Please bear with these inconveniencies during the transition, but let our webmaster know if you encounter any serious problems.
                                       
The Winter 2011 edition of our magazine, the Tippler is now available on-line and in pubs.

 

Geoff Sandles (pictured above) and Dave Hedges have produced a wonderful web-site about the history of pubs and breweries in Gloucestershire. Geoff would be delighted to receive your comments on the site by email. 		  Our guide to Real Ale in Gloucestershire is now on-line.
The guide contains details of all pubs in Gloucestershire (including the South Gloucestershire and North Cotswold areas).
