| Welcome! CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, is Europe's most successful consumer association with nearly 150,000 members. It fights to save Britain's pub heritage and campaigns for a wide choice of tasty traditional beers and ciders. | The Gloucestershire branch covers the GL1 to GL20 and GL50 to GL53 postcode areas. Postcode areas GL54 to GL56 are now covered by a separate North Cotswold Branch. |

The Old Spot Inn in Dursley is Gloucestershire CAMRA's Pub of the Year for 2013. Congratulations to Steve and his staff. The Old Spot has previously been our pub of the year on several occasions, and was CAMRA National Pub of the Year in 2008. The Salutation at Ham took the branch title from 2010 to 2012, but now the Old Spot is back. Interestingly, both pubs are in our Dursley and District sub-branch area!Motor club wins again! Cheltenham Motor Club in Upper Park Street is our branch Club of the Year once again for 2013. The club has won this title every year since 2006, was South West regional champion on 5 occasions, and currently holds the national title. Congratulations to steward Neil and his wife George on their continued success. In case you didn't already know, card-carrying CAMRA members are welcome as guests at the club, which is (tell us if you know better!) the only regular real ale outlet in Gloucestershire to ensure its customers a full pint by using oversized, lined glasses.Cheltenham, Dursley, Gloucester and Tewkesbury sub-branches now have their own web-sites. |
