Comments: Have really been pleased to find this site as my Great Grandfather Joseph Osborne MACEY and his wife Jane kept the Appletree Inn, Cheltenham, Gloucs. My Grandfather Edward Hudson Osborne MACEY and his wife Cynthia kept the Sandford Inn and the Pittville Hotel,both in Cheltenham.

Comments: The Mason's Arms , Victoria St. Gloucester was taken over in August 1966 by my father and mother , Jim and Joyce Dillon. They ran it until 1970 when they retired and the pub was bought from Whitbread.s by a builder who, I believe was called whitter. He converted the pub into flats.

Comments: Many thanks for your hard work through which I believe I may have found my Grandmothers Brother.We didnt know anything about him apart from the fact that he was a Landlord in Stroud.I believe I have now found him through your pages. His name was Charles William Saunders at The Leopard Inn.Once again many thanks
