Battledown Beers
- Sunbeam (ABV 4.2%)
California Common (aka. American 'Steam Beer') An ale brewed in the American post-prohibition way using lager yeast (at ale temperatures) and Northern Brewer hops..
- Natural Selection (ABV 4.2%)
Rich golden ale, complex and satisfying, the malts evident but giving way to the triple hop addition to give a spicy and slightly citrus finish. Originally brewed for Cheltenham race weeks, but now brewed much more often.
- Porter (ABV 4.5%) - seasonal - October to March
Darker in colour, darker in taste, with echoes of the 18th century, deep red with a hint of coffee, velvety smooth and rich in malt - not for the faint hearted!
- Four Kings (ABV 7.2%)
Strong Ale. Rich and smooth. Lots of everything and then some!
- Cheltenham Special Premium Ale (ABV 4.6%)
A medium bodied deep amber beer, with malt and fruit overtones and a balancing bitterness from the hops.
- Cheltenham Standard Ale (ABV 3.6%)
A light gold pale ale, fresh and lively with a clean dry taste.
- Cheltenham Special Ale (ABV 5.2%)
A crisp and slightly fruity pale ale. Triple hopped and brewed in the original India Pale Ale tradition.
