Situated in a picturesque Cotswold
village, this two-bar pub was formerly a
blacksmith's house and shop, but was
originally built for navvies working on
the nearby railway, from which the pub
takes it name. Various railway artefacts
are displayed, together with old village
photographs. The pub offers an excellent
range of home-cooked food, together with
a specials blackboard. Flowers on the
tables add a homely touch. The patio
affords beautiful views of the
Cotswolds. Aunt Sally played.
