The recent extension to this village
local have tripled its size. Clinging to
the side of the valley, it now has
floors on four levels, including a
restaurant, with outstanding views. The
garden, with two terraces and a
barbecue, offers spectacular sunsets.
The pub was built by a local farmer in
1876. The restaurant serves only
fresh-cooked meals based on local
produce; the wine list is good and
keenly priced. The pub is a favourite
nesting site for swallows.
