Superb, family-run free house, a former
local CAMRA Pub of the Year, and a GBG
regular for many years. Now the brewery
tap for the Great Western Brewery. Local
brewers are well-supported. Deservedly
popular, it has a skittle-alley (which
doubles as a function room) and an upper
level dining room. A large conservatory
has recently been added at the front of
the pub for both drinkers and diners.
Food available 1200-1400 (book for
Sunday lunch). Plenty of CAMRA
memorabilia here. Child friendly garden
and children welcome until 2030.
