Attractive, enterprising, 17th century
village pub with flagstone floors,
panelling, settles and stove in an
inglenook fireplace - everything you
would expect from a Cotswold pub, even
the tiny River Churn runs through the
garden. Excellent food, with ever
changing menu, in the bar and the smart
separate restaurant. They even cook the
lunches for the village Primary School
(Jamie Oliver would be impressed). The
accommodation is recommended.
