GUEST BEER Regular (H)
This village pub is a focus for the
local community. Regular charity events,
include the 'Revels', which features a
beer festival and fireworks. Though the
emphasis is on real cider, with three
always available, the pub also sells top
quality ale - the Bass is brought up
from the cellar in a jug. The pub is
L-shaped with one corner given over to
the locally sourced, no-nonsense,
good-value food (no food on Sunday
evenings). Dining area. Games are
popular with a golf society, fishing
clubs, crib and darts teams. The pub is
a stop on the 689 bus service to Bristol
city centre. Live music occasionally.
