this flourishing pub and pizzeria
exemplifies what can be achieved with
some imagination. Little remains of the
transport cafe era; a stylish array of
exposed stonework, flagstones and a
large central hearth now greet the eye,
with local artists proudly displaying
their work on the walls. The bar is at
the back behind the arches and there is
live acoustic music on most Sunday
evenings.
