Small brewery founded in 2001 with a 5-barrel plant, named after Dick Whittington who was born nearby. Production started in 2003. The brewery was very much an experiment initially concentrated on bottles for their shop and restaurant and expanded into the free-trade. However, the beers are only available bottle-conditioned from the brewery and local outlets.
The brewery is a member of SIBA.
