Situated at the top of this historic
town on the Cotswold Way, this 16th
century comfortable two-bar pub has an
exposed Cotswold stone interior. The pub
contains memorabilia of the White Star
Line famous for the ill-fated Titanic.
John Cambridge, who started the company,
was born in the pub in 1784. Major
sporting events can be watched in the
public bar or a quiet pint enjoyed in
the lounge. There is a function room for
community events.

This 16th Century coaching inn has an
imposing exterior and is situated at the
top of the town, close to a free public
car park. It stands next to the museum.
The public bar has TV and gaming
machines, while the comfortable lounge
and restaurant both have open fires. It
is a genuine Free House and sources the
majority of its beers from local micro
breweries and stocks a single variety
Yarlington Mill draught cider. The pub
has a large selection of unusual malt
whiskies. This good local is popular
with walkers using the Cotswold Way.
